During the project the existing old kindergarten building and its associated structures will be demolished, and a modern, child-friendly A-energy-class building will rise in its place, due for completion in autumn 2026.
"Mustamäe district has 19 kindergartens, all built in the 1960s–70s. So starting construction of Kikas Kindergarten is an important step for Mustamäe," emphasised district elder Marja-Liisa Veiser.
Investing in kindergarten infrastructure brings a better learning environment, which also ensures better educational outcomes for children in the future and prepares them better for later life.
The works bring temporary changes to local traffic arrangements that may affect nearby residents. We will provide further information shortly on both the traffic changes and the progress of construction.
